Introduction

The purpose of this feature is to improve Novarize users’ campaign results.

In this case study, I will describe my workflow and explain the background of the applied solution.

Problem

After advertising our platform to several agencies, the main negative feedback we received was related to the Reach* of the solution.

Research

To improve the campaigns’ reach, we decided to provide users with the option to select several audiences from the same product category.

  • Select Audiences

Users can browse and select multiple audiences from a specific product category.

  • Add Selected Audiences to the Cart

Once selected, audiences can be added to the cart for streamlined campaign management.

  • Create campaigns with selected audiences

Users can finalize and launch campaigns using the audiences stored in the cart

My Suggestions

Version #1

By clicking on "add to campaign," the user adds the audience to the “create campaign” cart. Next to the cart, there is a number in brackets, indicating the amount
of selected audiences.

Version #2

Changes in the application are minimal. The user can select multiple audiences. The demographics drawer specifying the details of the chosen audiences appears on the right-hand side of the screen.

Both versions were presented to Novarize PMs. Version #2 was approved for implementation for the following reasons:

There are two ways to filter the feed, allowing users to refine their content based on different criteria:

Users can narrow down the feed by selecting location, gender, and age from the filters at the top of the page.

Users can refine the feed based on specific product categories using the filter panel on the right.

Users can customize their feed further by clicking the "Edit Feed" text button, which allows them to modify selected product categories.

The demographics drawer appears on the right-hand side of the screen. It provides an overview of the selected audiences before the user can proceed to creating the campaign. The demographics drawer can be reduced to the bottom bar.

Once the user has selected the audiences, they can move to the next step and create a campaign.

Define key settings such as budget, objective, and account.

Select existing ad posts or create a new ad from scratch.

Our mobile native application provides the same comprehensive campaign creation experience, allowing users to select audiences, set campaign details, and choose creatives effortlessly. With a user-friendly interface optimized for mobile, users can manage their campaigns on the go without compromising functionality.

Outcome

The final implementation provides a seamless and intuitive campaign creation experience across both web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency through our UI components.

Conclusion

This project was developed as a temporary solution to understand the value of the feature. Once released, it is expected that our customers will feel a substantial and positive difference in running campaigns. If the testing results are positive, the application will be redesigned in line with Version #1.
